YOUR FIRST STEP TO ALBERTA PLATES
Before a vehicle from another province can be registered in Alberta, it has to pass an out-of-province inspection at a licensed facility. Sheni’s Auto Trend has specialized in European cars since 1987, and we’re a licensed inspection facility, so whether you’ve brought in a BMW from Ontario or a family SUV from BC, our licensed journeyperson technicians check it against Alberta’s safety and equipment standards and give you a straight answer. And if your European car needs work to pass, it’s in the hands of people who work on these cars every day, not a shop learning on your vehicle.

HOW THE OUT-OF-PROVINCE INSPECTION WORKS
1.Get the form. Buy a Request for Vehicle Inspection Form at any Alberta registry. It doesn’t expire, so you can pick it up whenever it suits you.
2.Book with us. Call 403-243-3232 or send us a message.
3.We inspect. A licensed technician inspects your vehicle
4.Get your certificate. When it passes, you receive your Out-of-Province Vehicle Inspection Certificate and Record of Inspection.
5.Register within 14 days. Take your certificate to any Alberta registry within 14 days, or a new full inspection is required.
PASS OR FAIL, WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED
One licensed shop for the inspection and any repairs. If we fix it here, there’s no clock running: your vehicle stays with us until it’s ready to pass.
